Worship Services

Worship is an opportunity to connect with God, celebrating what God has already done in & through us and a time to gain strength & wisdom for the journey ahead. We have three venues for worship each Sunday at First United Methodist Church of Chula Vista.

8:00 am - Daybreak w/weekly Communion
(Casual, relaxed, thoughtful . . . A great way to begin your Sunday)

9:30 am - Sounds of Grace
(A vibrant classical worship service with the Choir)

Childcare (up to age 3) is available in the Nursery for all worship services and a Cry Room is located on the east wall of the Sanctuary for your convenience.

While children are always welcome in the Sanctuary for worship, Sunday School can be an important part of your child’s faith development. This time is specifically planned with age appropriate faith development activities. Every Sunday classes are held for 3 year olds thru Sr. High School during the 9:30 am Sounds of Grace worship service.

Additional opportunities for daily prayer & meditation are available in the Chapel daily from 4 – 8 pm, Wednesdays only from 4—6 pm.
