Attention all men: Men's Retreat March 16 - 18, 2012 You will want to join us for men's retreat this year, the theme is "Will You Go?" Retreat will be co-lead by Rev. John Farley, Lead Pastor from Foothills UMC and Pastor Brian Parcel. You will not want to miss this retreat. All men are welcome, but a special invitation has been extended to the men from Foothill in La Mesa. Cost of retreat will be $150 if paid in full by January 15, 2012, $160 if paid after. Men's Bible Study
We meet Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm in the Disciples Lounge, of which is upstairs in the Fellowship Hall building. We have started a new series, "Solving the 24 Problems that Men Face." This is an awesome study that will follw the "Man in the Mirror Book." If you don't have a copy, pick up a free copy on the information table. About 30 min. of video teaching followed by discussion.
2nd Saturday Breakfast We will not be meeting in the month of August for men's breakfast. We will be doing a Luau on August 12th, more details to follow.
3rd Thursday Breakfast We meet the 3rd Thursday of each month, 9:00am at the Galley at the Marina, located at 550 Marina Parkway - off West J Street in Chula Vista. For more info, contact Tom Snow at 216-6906.
God's Extended Hand Ministry (September 29, December 29) The Men's Ministry is scheduled to provide the message at the God's Extended Hand at 6:00pm on the 5th Thursday of the month. What a humbling opportunity for us to spread the good news of Jesus Christ. This ministry is open for all to be involved in, contact the church if you would like to participate.
